ABOUT THE PROMOTERS
Welcome to the NPC Twin Cities Open. We are Jeff and Kirsten Zahler; a husband/wife duo and proud promoters of the NPC Twin Cities Open. We are gym rats at heart and lovers of all things bodybuilding. Our story began in the late 2000’s when we each found our love for weight training. Jeff started competing in bodybuilding in 2009 and Kirsten joined the stage in Figure in 2010. It was later that same year we crossed paths at an old Bally Fitness and haven’t looked back since.
Bodybuilding is more than just a hobby to us. It’s been the foundation of our careers and the driving force behind everything we do. Jeff has been a trainer since 2008 and a prep coach since 2011, while Kirsten has become a posing coach in her own right. We’re incredibly proud of the growth and success of every one of our clients. Watching them push past their limits and achieve their goals is what makes everything we do worthwhile.
In 2012, our competition tanning business, Hardbody Bronze, was born. We served our local bodybuilding community through competition tanning, makeup and hair for over a decade. This truly changed our lives and paved the way for where we are today.

In 2022, we opened Iron Alliance Gym in Burnsville, MN with our amaziing business partners Derek and Paige Dolgner. The gym and the vibrant community we’ve built have exceeded our wildest dreams. We feel honored everyday to see so many faces from the fitness and bodybuilding community come together in our space.
For years we dreamed of one day promoting our own bodybuilding show. Today, that dream is reality. The NPC Twin Cities Open was inaugurated on July 10th, 2021. We’ve taken our vision, combined it with your feedback, and put in the work to make this event something truly special.
